Emma Saunders (http://thisisadesigner.blogspot.com.au) and I decided we would have a day of creativity and make some small wooden and paper clay brooches. Here is what we came up with;
Sketching ideas.
A small cut out on tracing paper from our drawing.
The small cut out pieces.
Sanding away at out little brooches.
Painting time.
Our base coats on the wood.
It's alive!
Then we painted out pieces and glued them together and here is what with came up with!

Emmas cute little bird with red feet and my yellow bellied owl!
Paper clay bow brooch after being dried in the oven.
Becomes a red bow brooch.
